FOX SHOX - Rhino Shocks

E-mail A Friend
These Fox Replacement Shocks use the same high quality materials that the Fox Offroad racing shocks use, including Hyper Coil springs (the same springs we use for our race car). The bodies are constructed of a special seamless, smooth bore alloy with clear cadmium plating to withstand the elements. The shafts are hardened 17-4, 5/8" hardcrome and the front shocks use a 6061 hard anodized billet aluminum piston.
Aircraft quality materials can be found throughout the shock with such features as teflon lined stainless steel heim joints, 6061 T6 adjustable piggy back reservoirs (360 degree adjustability), billet aluminum body caps and all aluminum parts are blue anodized.
With the nitrogen charged DeCarbon design coupled with the additional oil capacity from the piggyback reservoir these shocks can be run hard without experiencing any oil foaming or heat fade (we know this because we tried!)
Installation is straightforward, utilizing the stock bolts, and all correct spacers and hardware are included.
The valving for the shocks was tested and tuned at our test site to determine the best set up for compression and rebound dampening. Along with the folks from Fox Offroad Racing Division, we focused on keeping all wheels on the ground over rough terrain and to eliminate the Rhino's tendency to ?buck', along with general handling characteristics and comfort. Adjustable spring preload enables adjustments to ride height for those occasional heavy loads and the shocks are fully rebuildable without any special tools.
Installing a set of quality shocks designed and tuned for the Rhino really helps bring out the hidden potential in your Rhino!
